Nationwide radon levels must be measured in all public buildings such as stations, hospitals, libraries, schools, congregation places, day-care centers and nursery schools, etc. which are located in air permeable slack or sand formations or ridge areas. Radon levels must be measured also in all underground estates where there is activity.
In public buildings such as stations, hospitals, libraries, schools, congregation places, day-care centers and nursery schools, etc. maximum level of exposure to radon is 400 Bq/m3. It is every school and kindergarden´s responsibly to make sure that this level is not exceeded.
